Overall Objective of this committee is to supervise projects that have been agreed upon and approved by the Session.(The Projects Committee was formerly known as Building Committee which narrowed the concept of its operations which tended to be building oriented.

Regulates and manages youth affairs of the congregation according to the Presbytery and the church Session.

PARTNERSHIP COMMITTEE-(partnership@stcolumbaccap.org)

Chairman: Mr. Dzuwa

Coordinates, consolidates and manages partnership affairs affecting the congregation with others in the Synod as well as those outside the country. For example, this committee manages partnerships that currently exist between St. columba and Mbenjere(Local), Balaka(Local), Masintha(Local), Chitimba(Local), Lebanon PC “(USA) and Holburnwest (Scotland)

MUSIC COMMITTEE-(music@stcolumbaccap.org)

Overall responsibilityof this committee is to enhance worship of God through singing praises and thanksgiving individually or in group form.

FINANCE COMMITTEE (finance@stcolumbaccap.org)

Makes decisions on all maters affecting finances of the church and submit the same for endorsement by the Session Executive or session.

Regulates and manages cottage visitations to the manse and ensures that the general upkeep of the Moderator and his family is maintained.

Responsible for fund raising activities that enable the church to fulfil its obligations.

Gives counsel to Christians of the church in spiritual and social matters in line with Presbyterian practice and procedures, and in agreement with parameters prescribed by the Session.

PRIMARY & NURSERY SCHOOL COMMITTEE-(primaryschool@stcolumbaccap.org)

Manages and supervises the school by attending to physical, biological and mental as well as spiritual life of all the children in the schools.

EVANGELISM AND TRAINING COMMITTEE-(evangelism@stcolumbaccap.org)

Conducts and propagates spiritual revival in the congregation and consolidates Christian faith through regular evangelical outreach both at cottage and congregational levesl; provides spiritual counsel and encouragement to all who have renounced sin and have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal saviour and Lord. The committee also engages in training Christians of all ages and sex in selected areas of need in order to complement knowledge and experience of old and new believers.
